he served as a field editor for over 100 magazines and then began selling to the majors including Field and Stream Better

magazines.
He currently has
32 books in print including books on RVing Houseboating Personal Finance Gardening Owner-built adobe construction and much
more. His Postage Stamp Gardening Book now has more than half a million copies in print.
He has
taught article writing How to Sell the Non-Fiction Book and Business Writing
for results at Colleges and Universities across the United States. He is also co-founder of Sierra Writing Camp. Currently he
teaches How to Write and Sell the Non-Fiction Book at the College of Marin Kentfield California. Students from Duane Newcombs classes have sold well over 7 million dollars worth of
