Writers join the Sacramento Suburban Writers
because the club helps them improve their craft and have fun while doing it. Activities include: 1. Exciting monthly

2. A monthly newsletter--the Suburban Scribe--gives insightful articles on writing, and provides information on area
conferences and writing contests.
3. A mentoring program for new members to assist in their growth and an extensive lending
library for all members on the subject of writing. 4. Opportunities to network with other writers, learn
about publishing opportunities and guidelines.
The Quillers, Folsom,
California--The group size varies from 4 - 5 to an infrequent 9 - 11 that actual meet face to face. However, the Quillers'
e-mail distribution is considerable larger. Meetings are casual and effectively laissez-faire. Presently, the group is mostly
fiction and non-fiction with periodic poetry contribution. Quillers has grown by virtue of customers shopping gotr books in
